I love seeing the pictures. What camera do you use? Our excitement from this summer is getting a SLR camera — can you respond on our blog by sharing the 5 tips to being a genius photographer in the mold of some of the greats — you know, Ansel Adams, Pam Crane. . .those types?
Hi Woodwards. For cameras, I am a Nikon girl. I used to love my Minolta, but they were bought out by Sony, so when I went digital, I went Nikon. My personal camera is a Nikon D50, and the work camera (pictures in Uganda) is a Nikon D300. I just got a new lens, which I am now using with both cameras and am rather in love with because of its versatility: the Nikkor (Nikon) 18-200 VR lens. It cost as much as my personal camera, and I think the lens-body combo is ideal. You can get similar things on Cannon, which is worth it if you already have Cannon lenses. But, if you don’t, I think Cannon costs more for basically the same thing. I’ll post a few thoughts on photography soon.
Love your pictures. The pictures of the people make the area become alive!
